Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz C14 and C16 are same?

I am currently using Corsair 8GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz C14 CMK8GX4M1A2400C14R. I am planning to buy additional 8GB of RAM, can I use Corsair 8GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz C16 CMK8GX4M1A2400C16R with my existing RAM.

Motherboard Asus H170 Pro DDR4 2133Mhz
Processors Intel Core i5 6400

You can try, no guarantees, not even a guarantee if you get another 2400/14 stick of the same exact model you have. Chances are good but any time you mix DRAM from different packages it can be and often is problematic

My current PC config has a problem now. After every proper shutdown (Windows 10), When I try to boot my PC I am getting BSOD error MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. I did check sfc/scannow and Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool no problem found. it has got anything to do with RAM?


Motherboard H170-PRO BIOS 0903 and available BIOS for download is 1803.

Try raising DRAM voltage + 0.05

How do I do that? I upgraded the BIOS to 1803.

Go into the BIOS, find DRAM voltage and raise it + 0.05, should be a t 1.2 so set to 1.25

I cant change DRAM voltage is set to auto

Do I have to change XMP?
