I bought a single 8gb stick of ram will upgrade to 16 later, the model of the ram is CMK8GX4M1E3200C16 i was wondering if there would be any compatibility issues with it and ryzen and also i will buy a b450 motherboard.
If I ever buy that second stick I will definitely make sure to buy the exact model that I already have but that will only happen when I confirm that the first stick works as intended to.It should work fine however once you add that second stick there's no guarantee they'll work together or even boot. Memory is finicky which is why it's been tested to work together and sold in kits.
Speed wise it's a great choice for Ryzen.
You could look on the motherboard's QVL to see if there's a match but what's tested is a very small amount compared to what will work.If I ever buy that second stick I will definitely make sure to buy the exact model that I already have but that will only happen when I confirm that the first stick works as intended to.
