Corsair Vengeance or G.Skills RipJaws

Hey Guys, I want to know which one is better the Corsair Vengeance or the G.Skills RipJaws , and why? 😀

G.skill is one of the best RAM manufacturers for the same or better performance and reliability. Corsair is nice but they rip you off by $50-100 just for the same or slightly higher performance.

Edit: and as your link pointed out, G.skill has higher frequency than the Corsair RAM and Corsair is still more expensive. Although that Corsair has lower timing than G.skill this time, lol.

But the Ripjaws has a higher cas.

You should be able to find 2 x 4gb 1866 cl9 1.5V for about $80 eg Mushkin Redline

I have ripjaws and they work well, g.skill has a good reputation and I like the ripjaws, slightly lower profile for better heatsink compatibility

But sometimes the decision might base on preference as in the looks and style of the RAM, that is if you care. G.skill has much more stylish RAM than Corsair in my opinion

They're both good, I'm not saying either of them is bad, if you are on a budget though, I'd go with G.skill, if not, then perhaps Corsair is for you.

The ones you show will work fine, the set I put the link to are $1 and you get get a tighter CL9 (better performance) vs the CL 11 the set you showed....either way, you'll be perfectly fine 😉
