Both are good kits, and there would be no performance difference between them.

I would suggest 16GB unless there is some reason you *need* 32 gigs...

Thanks for your response. I probably do not need 32 gb but it is on sale today at New Egg.
Both are 1866 - I just want the best preformance. I typically have numerous web pages open and a few other programs running -Office programs - and sometimes a game going
I was all set to purchase the Vengence 1866 16gb at lat 9 until I seen this deal.
Is the Ares stable?

The Ares are a very good kit.

You definitely won't need 32 Gigs, but if it is on sale and the same(ish) price, go for it.
