Corsair Vengence DDR4 3200 set up guide?

Hey there,
Just got a corsair vengence 3200 8x2 kit but i cannot start it in XMP. Anything above the default 2133 i get a black screen on start up followed by a OC failed message on next reboot. Updated bios as i saw some memory compatibility notes but still no luck. XMP has done the trick in my previous builds so i'm not really sure where to go from here. Anyone installed a similar kit who's more experienced with RAM?

Asus z170 Pro gaming
GTX 970

Do you have the latest BIOS? THat's first, are you trying the sticks in slots 1-3 from CPU or in 2-4?

Yeah, i have the latest BIOS, and the sticks are in 2-4

CPU is currently running 4.2 on all cores soley by multiplier increase. i've done some testning at 4.4 as well and it's been stable for the last 8 hours of gaming. So i'm thinking that my silicon lottery ticket isn't that bad.

Is there any voltage increases i should tamper with to get more stable ram?
I tired a 2400 oc with same timings at 1.350 but it turns out exactly the same as at 3200 except for additional error beeping

Could you post up the SPD info from CPU-Z (free app)
