Specs:

i7-4790
Asus B85m gamer
Palit gtx 750ti
8gb ddr3 ram
corsair vs450

I'm planning on buying gtx 1660 non ti. Can my existing PSU power it?
also I'm torn between gtx 1660 or gtx 1060 6gb. With a price difference of 39 usd.

Thanks

Technically, it would supply enough power. But don't get VS series PSUs. They are unreliable, finicky, and of subpar quality. Get a CX450 instead.

i already have vs450, it's almost 2 years now.
I'm planning to get the Seasonic s12ii by next month. it's just not available on my fav store as of now.

so in short, i will be fine running the gtx 1660 or gtx 1060 (whichever i chose) on vs450?

Agreed with Dark Lord of Tech.

i know multiple people who run a VS450 without issue - but no it isn't great quality. It would be advisable to upgrade when you can, to keep your PC and its components safe in the event of a problem.

Personally I wouldn't hold off putting in the new GPU, just upgrade to a better one when you can.
