No, the VS range are poor quality, not what you want in a gaming pc. A CX550 (not CX550M) is ok but ideally go for something better like the Seasonic Focus Gold 550w or 450w would be good choices.

What’s wrong with the 2 I suggested? Never cheap out on the psu quality, it’s the one component that can kill or reduce the life of other components.

The Corsair VS650 is quite medeocre. Its certainly not horrible, but not very good either.

I would much rather trust a Corsair CX which is a far superior line of power supplies.
