I have an old eMachines pc with an Athlon x2 4000+ and mcp61am motherboard. Looking to upgrade the cpu and motherboard. Won't be used for gaming, Most strenuous thing would be using Avidemux to edit videos recorded from a turner card.

Will be installing a 4gb memory stick, Two or three SATA HDD's will installed. 1tb Seagate and two 500gb WD's.

Was thinking of the Celeron 1820 with the AsRock B85M-GL board.

Will the Corsair vx450w be enough for that?

Not planing on adding a high end video card anyway, maybe something basic if the on board graphics are not that good

It will be good enough to power your new rig, but since it's not available now it will be a bit tricky for warranty if there's anything wrong with it
Corsair's PSU has no VX series, but if you are talking about the VS450 then yes, that PSU is designed for entry-level components, my mid-end rig (4570 + GTX760) is powered by a VS650 and it has no problem atm
