I need to find some ram for my computer that Im building. My motherboard is a Asus A7V Socket A with 1.2 GHz. I was thinking about getting Corsair PC-133 256 MB CAS 2 for about $118 I don't know if it is good cuz i'm not that very computer smart. So if there is any ideas out there as to which memory I need or is really good.

thanx

I often find Crucial to be cheaper than Corsair, so I would usually go for Crucial.

corsairs are one of the best in terms of overclockability...
but at that price, you are getting ripped off. that a look at the ocz store's pc-150 128meg 2/2/2 rams!!! they are corsairs. they hand picked the best.

I am just a little curious as to why someone would buy 128MB of PC150 for $90 when they can get 256MB of PC133 for $118. I dont know much about all the numbers but isnt 133 the standard FSB right now? Im not trying to argue just asking for I am building my first system soon and would like to know.

150Mhz RAM is useful only if you plan to overclock your system a bit. Other than that PC133 CL2 is just fine and even more, as you can also overclock 133MHz RAM (get good RAM though, like Crucial).
