I went once with some people and we got past the first couple White rebels
and beat 3 or 4 of the red rebels, but by then we had all split apart and
had lost our buffs. We were massacred. WTF. I really don't think it's
beatable unless everyone is a Doctor/Commando with ATSTs or something. It
was rediculous. How can they justify such hi-ham enemies? In a real
situation, 3 or 4 people ought to be able to take out a super-high
ranking/trained soldlier no matter what. Of course you'd have to take in to
effect intimidation, panic, fear, basic psycology, but come on. 10
Master-of-Somethings could take out 5 Rebels in a skirmish, move to the next
room, same thing, next room, same thing...

Yeah for some reason the developers think banging your head against a brick
wall is fun and challenging. It doesn't have to be a newbie capable dungeon
but from what I am hearing it's a death trap even for skilled players.

Beat it. Group had one Combat nedic, one doc 4 TKM's for tanking as we did
neutral and the robots are almost iommune to kenetic, the rest were various
professions, We had no imperials so no AT-ST's took us 3 trys to get where
we needed to go and all. If you are not co-ordinated you may not die but you
will not finish it in 60 minutes. You need to go a time or 2 to find out
what to do and what the layout of the ship is

Its aimed at high level players. A group of 10 masters shouldn't have
too much difficulty assuming they all know what their doing. 3 or 4
Master Rifle and I imagine it would be pretty quick assuming your
tanks are good.

Beat it a couple of days ago with 30mins left. No problem. I have
been up 5 times and never died. It's not too hard. Go with a good
group that knows there roles. Stay together. If you wander off and
stuff you will end up dead.

Just don't be stupid. It's not that difficult if you go up with a
balanced group that does there jobs properly and someone who knows how
to do the mission.

Other replies had good points, I just want to reiterate a few things.
First, your group split up. That is BAD. Don't ever split up, stick
together. Concentrate your fire on one enemy at a time, a Squad Leader
using Volley Fire could help if your group is having a hard time finding
the right target. Try to separate them so they are easier to drop. Do
not use AOE attacks - your world will come apart in a hurry. Take a
look at the enemy and use the appropriate weapon based on resists - the
best weapons from what I've seen deal Electricity (BH's LLC and a pike)
or Acid (BH's scatter, Rifleman DXR-6B, etc) damage.

It's a challenge which means at no point can you just 'take out' the high
end npc's. I think it's great, i've done it 5 times with my guild,
everytime we get a little further, kill a little more and find a few more of
the things we need to find. And then we die. It may take us a couple more
times to finish (it may take more than that!) but it will be that much more
worth it! If it's something you finish the first time or the second time it
wouldn't be high level content. I really hope that we can finish it before
the whiners (sry Anthony, but that's what it is) get it nerfed. Here's some
things that have helped us.
1. Come prepared - fully buffed, plan your food, everyone fully armored &
bring a full group (10 peeps)
2. Have a leader with a plan and follow them (makes it easy to know who's in
front).
3. Stick together. Like glue. I can't emphasise this enough, do not split
up.
4. Everyone hits the same enemy.
5. No area attacks, no warcry, you'll bring the place down on your head.
Keep in mind this isn't just a kill fest, you have to get specific codes to
get to the bridge. It takes a plan.

This is the best content yet in this game and the content has been getting
better (C.O.A 3 was really good too!). Just keep trying it, it may take
8-10 trys but you'll get through it. I can guarantee that we will.

Nah, it's not really a whine, it's just a gripe. I didn't know this was
going to be super-high end. But I did think it was supposed to be fun. I
actually want harder stuff too, but I guess I mean higher-end stuff that I
could do alone if I wanted to. Not that I don't like groups, but some people
just don't know how to be in a group. When I said we'd 'split up', I don't
mean we decided to split up. Some idiots kept running ass backwards around
trying to avoid getting shot, which in my experience doesn't work. I kept
trying to stay with our leader who had been there before. Then he just
stopped directing me and we eventually all got the hell outta Dodge.

Plus I don't like getting incapped in one shot while I'm buffed. =) It
should make the NPCs balanced to your actual group so they CAN beat it, but
that it will be challenging. Not so you go blasting through in 10 minutes.
It's just not realistic for a guy to keep fighting when you have 9 people
shooting at them at once. IF they could withstand such an assbeating, which
they couldn't, they would be running for the escape pods at ".5 past
lightspeed."

But, and this is my first mmorpg so it took me a while to get this but the
multi is a big part of the point of this game. Everything from the basic
design of the crafting / resource / economic through the combat professions
that rely on them is group oriented, forming alliances and business
relations, forming guilds. So to really be 'elite' in this game should mean
the more competent groups, not the best single template. But it hasn't
until the corvette. You have to have a competent group. That is the key to
this one and it finally makes the multi really important.

Exactly. They can't come.

I agree but seeking realism in a sci fi video game maybe a fruitless endevor
from the start...

I just completed it!
We did the rebel rescue mission based out of Tyrena.
The group consisted of (roughly):
1 CM (exclusively healing, no killing)
2 TKM or close
1 TK
1 Pike
1 Commando
2 Smuggler (1 is also 1 of the TKM)
Various other big guns
& one noob.
Two of the group had a good idea from the forums of where we should go. We
stuck together until we reached the engine rooms, where we sacrificed the 2
smugglers to fix the droid & flick the switch. It got sorta hairy after
that and by then end we were running individually to the front of the ship
to complete it. Luckily one of our group got incapped in the room with the
hostages. Someone else came running behind and pulled them out of the room
so when the incapped guy came to, he could talk to the hostages.
Keep with it Anthony, it's really worth is completeable and it's really
great when you do it! We went back to Tyrena and got the speeder schematic
as a reward!
Good luck
