Cost effective solution for core i3/i5 and compatible mother boards and optimal memory

Hi,
Can you please help me in selecting a core i3/i5 processor and its compatible ASUS/GIGABYTE mother boards? (cost effective) I have a graphics cards ZOTAC GT620. Can I use this card to boost the 3D experience? I am not a big game pro but watch lot of 3D HD videos and streaming. I have a 23 inch LG 3D monitor. It would be great if you could point me how much memory is sufficient.

Depends on what motherboard do you have.

what's your budget? and I'm 100% sure u don't need your GT620 since the integrated graphics on the skylakes i3/i5 will perform better.

My budget is around $ 350-400. I have an HDD and DVD burner which has SATA interface. I can reuse my ATX cabinet and other I/Os as well. I need CPU/Motherboard/RAM. BTW, I have a local made 450 WATT SMPS.
