Does anyone have any experience with Gaming Keypad's similar to Razer's Nostromo, Orbweaver Elite or Tartarus Keypads?

I'm thinking about getting one for more comfortable couch gaming with my PC. That, and I have cats that like to lay down in my lap while I'm in the middle of a pretty intense game lol. I figured something like this would help me avoid letting my pets accidentally jump all over my keyboard.

I'm kind of interested in the Tartarus at the moment, however, is Razer the only brand that makes these?

Thanks for any help.

I've had the Razer Orbweaver for approximately 2 years now; i simply love it and no longer see myself requiring any special keyboard to game since i can just rebind its keys to whatever I want, the software (Razer Synapse) that comes with it offers you unlimited profiles which can be saved to your cloud online meaning you never need to worry about reprogramming it everytime you format your gaming rig.

So the Orbweaver is what i suggest but moving on to your question - No, as far as I know, Logitech makes these as well...

the link above will take you to Logitech's site where you will witness the G13, ive never used it but from what I can tell, it doesn't look half bad...

do your research before buying; i would personally recommend the Orbweaver seeing as how looks much better, is very responsive and is highly ergonomic. but i could be wrong as Logitech's G13 seems formidable as well and may sport some similar features.

Great answer! Here's an odd follow up question though... Are they heavy at all?
