my own impression, the candy color kinda makes it look like a toy.

my mouse has tilt but i have not used it much, maybe im just not used to having one

The "list" price of that Anker mouse is the same as the 300M's biggest brother: the 700M. It being cheaper also hinges on if and when the sale price goes away.

Probably three buttons on top and two on each side.

Seems like a regular mouse to me. most mice around $20 and up these days have the forward/back buttons which can be programmed for games. Alot of them have the dpi button and frequency buttons. This mouse has a braided chord, which on a lot of mice can be a pain in the ass for gaming. There are better options for much less.

For one thing you probably don't even know how the quality compares. Plus, I'm not aware of many similar mice for less money.
