Or you could just get the Anker gaming mouse which has 9 programmable buttons, twice the DPI, and costs less:

This mouse is fantastic (I own 3 - one for Gaming rig, one for workstation, one for laptop)

The "list" price of that Anker mouse is the same as the 300M's biggest brother: the 700M. It being cheaper also hinges on if and when the sale price goes away.

Seems like a regular mouse to me. most mice around $20 and up these days have the forward/back buttons which can be programmed for games. Alot of them have the dpi button and frequency buttons. This mouse has a braided chord, which on a lot of mice can be a pain in the ass for gaming. There are better options for much less.
