Question Coughing causing LED Fan Lights to flash?

Hey everyone,

I had a computer built for me last year, and the 9 LED fans went off. I am not sure what caused them to stop working out of no where. It has been like that for a month then I started to VACUUM and the weirdest thing happened, the lights actually turned on and started to work again, and when I turned the vacuum off, the lights went off. Now I am starting to randomly cough and the weirdest thing happens. The lights flicker for a few seconds then go back off.

Anyone know what causes this and how to fix it so the lights work again?

Loose/intermittent connection is my thought.

When there is movement or vibration from any source (such as a cough) the connection makes or breaks causing the flickering.

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, and jumpers are fully and firmly in place.

Pay special attention to the fan connectors.

Unplug and re-plug each connection a couple of times to ensure a good connection.

No harm in likewise checking all other cables and connections supporting your computer.
