Could a i3-3240 run Vermintide?

I know its hard to give a good answer for these types of things but I wanted to give the question a shot to see if anyone may of ran the game with the same processor or something.

Minimum requirement for the processor is a Intel Core2 Quad Q9500 and mine is a i3-3240, the rest of my hardware is certainly capable of running the game.

My i3-3240 is apparently only a hair above the minimum requirement so I'm not sure if it would even be playable.

Well yours is a bit more than a hair above so you should be able to play it just fine.

I heard Vermintide wrecks even modern PC's, however I've been told it gives you a lot more options to turn things down or completely off than most other games do.

What gpu do you have? that matters more than the cpu when dtermening if you will be able to run a game.

I have a GTX 950 coming tomorrow. I've seen people running the game with a 750 Ti with no issues and the GTX 950 is roughly 2x the power IIRC

Id say its about 50% more powerfull than a 750 ti, but yeah you wont have any problem runing vermintide on that system.
If you do encounter trouble steam has a refund policy so you can get yout money back for the game
