Hello

I would like to ask, if its possible to PSU slowly going to die. Now let me explain why i guess.
My PC Specs :

CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (OC to 5.2GHz)
CPU Cooler : Arctic Liquid Freezer Pro - 360
RAM : 4x48 GB RAM - Kingston Fury ( all 4 sticks ), 6000 MHz, CL30
MB : ASUS Crosshair X870E Hero
PSU : Corsair RM1000x ( 3 months old, was factsory new )
SSD : 1x Samsung 2TB 9100 Pro, 1x Samsung 4TB 990 Pro
GPU : Gainward GeForce 5070 Ti Phoenix ( not even 14 days old )

Problem started 2 days ago. I am just chillin and playing Path of Exile, which there was suddenly BSOD without any warning or any reason. I told myself, okay [Mod edit to remove profanity. Remember that this is a family friendly Forum.] happens. Its maybe because of game. So i started play again POE - now it was reboot PC after a while of playing. So this kinda sounds suspicious. So i tried some benchmarks (3D Mark, Unigine SuperPosition) and everything was OK. So i tried CPU test (OCCT - CPU test), Cinebench 15 & 23 - everything ok. Temperatures was also ok on GPU and CPU.

But... There comes the mystery. When i tried hardly using system, or hardcore Power test in OCCT - It takes about 600W (CPU+GPU), and from this situation there is always freezee and i must do a hard reset. Problem is its sometimes it freezee at 30s, sometimes after 2 minutes, but still same scenario.

What i tried at all.

1) Reinstall chipset AMD drivers
2) ADD voltage to CPU (tried default - same result)
3) Update BIOS to the latest one ( 1512 )
4) Underclock and power limit on GPU on lowest possible (power limit)
5) Check if there is something with SSDs, they are perfectly working.
6) Tried Memtest (all 4 pass), OCCT - MEM, and CPU+MEM no errors
7) Tried other game if situation occurs again. It not happens, but i am not gonna blame Path of Exile, because of Power Test in OCCT is a proof - where something is dying or almost dead.

I really think there is a PSU suspicious component, which is going slowly to die or its just mine feeling and it could be something else?
I cannot try the PSU on other PC, because other PC is low-end without power usage more than 250-300w at nax,
I do not have other PSU to test in my PC, if its OK or no.
There is no crackling or some kind of sounds from PSU.

I am lost, do you have any ideas how to resolve this annonying and little dangerous situation?? If its PSU i can buy other, but i am not sure if it is the reason of hard freezee in test.
Thanks for your tips.

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some error code, warning, or informational event just before or at the time of the BSOD's.

= = = =

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are fully and firmly in place.

Use a bright flashlight to inspect for signs of damage.

I am not gonna lie, but i´ve got clean PC, probably i can check if connectors are strictly plugged and or if its damaged. But this starts only 2 days ago and i did not move PC so it cannot something unplug or so.

One more idea, could be on rail on PSU dead, so it cannot feed properly CPU / GPU ? ( on GPU i am using splitter 2x8 to 1x16VHPWR, because that one what is from Corsair is weak (means too much soft and can bend easily.

remove nvidia drivers and reinstall.

you may have to reduce your ram speed drasticly on 4 sticks

your cpu speeds for stability

2 sticks below

2x1R
DDR5-5600
2x2R
DDR5-5600

4 sticks below

4x1R
DDR5-3600
4x2R
DDR5-3600

Thanks for tips guys. I just find that 12VHPWR from PSU doesnt working. Precisely and firmly plugged in like in PSU and same on GPU.

About RAMs, sorry i forget to say i have again just 2x48GB sticks.

edit : I reseat both RAM sticks, secure everything again (cpu, atx, both CPU connectors). Even on PSU reseated all cables and now seems its ok. But really dont know how they released, if i didnt do anything with pc. it just stands on one place...

so you have 2 kits of 48gb or just 2 sticks ?.

how are you powering the gpu if the 12vhpwr isn't working

if the cable isnt working could be a defective gpu cable 1 if you do 2 tight bends it can damage the cable and 2. make sure its inserted the correct way around, they should be keyed so you cant but i havent used one as of yet i prefer the adapters as i refuse to trust a sole 16 pin.

i have just one DDR KIT (2x48GB). But that 12VHPWR not working, or as u said maybe cable could be a defective. By the way i know that about bending cable. Its important against melting cable or damage him. I am using adapter too. 2x8pin -> 1xVHPWR.
