Could I Benefit From A Quadro K620?

I currently have a HTPC setup, which is just for general PC use, and it is running at 4k. I were contemplating if it is worth getting a Quadro K620 card just to generally improve performance for the things I do .

Given that I use a 4k display I'd eventually want to be able to stream 4k videos (when I upgrade my internet speeds), but I worry that the CPU alone will struggle doing this. I also wonder if getting this card will just generally improve things overall. I did try streaming a 4k video off Youtube, but sadly the playback was not a smooth one.

So put simply, what are the all-round benefits of adding a K620 to my build?

The CPU I have is the i3 6300 @ 3.8ghz

I doubt you're ever going to need something like a Quadro. What are the rest of your specs? I'm thinking you're trying to play 4K video with the iGPU?

Something like a 2GB R7 370 should do.

I am. The CPU integrated graphics is all I have. I've no other GPU in this build.

8gb ddr4 RAM @ 2133 mhz
Asrock Z170m ITX/AC
300W PSU
Sandisk 480gb SSD

Oh, and I needs to be a single bracket and low profile given the case.

Quadros don't offer better high res performance if that is what you are thinking. You're just doing video so a 750 is better and cheaper if the igpu can't handle it. Was 4k on youtube stuttering but loading fine?

My internet can't load the video fast enough so it was stuttering because of the buffering, but I did download the video and tried it. It stuttered.
