ok so my cpu is running @ 3.04 and my mem timings are 2-3-2-5
everything is more than stable and running perfectly and fast, so I was
wondering could I get even higher numbers with that mem?
I was trying higher fsb but then the prime95 report some errors

It all depends of what you want to do with your computer. Your cpu being
only oc'ed by 8 %, it could run a lot faster. But the nominal speed of your
ram is 218 MHz, so when going higher than lest's say 220 MHz, you will have
to reduce the mem speed to 5:4. This will allow you to go higher with the
fsb (275 MHz as far as memory is concerned). Your chipset or cpu however
will stop you around 245 - 250 MHz. At this fsb speed, your cpu should run
at 3.5 GHz, which is a lot better than actually, but your memory will run
asynchronous and at 200 MHz, which its lower than the rated and actual speed
of 218 MHz.
In conclusion, further oc'ing will give you lower memory benchmarks, but
higher general throughput and application benchmarks.
Other remarks:
- if your PC runs stable, your memory settings (2-3-2-5) are excellent for
Corsair PC3500.
- if you have a recent vga card with 64 MB or 128 MB ram, there is no need
to set the VGA aperture to 256 MB. 128 MB or probably 64 MB should be more
than enough. Do a google search for aperture size and you will find a lot of
explanations and advices about this setting.

thnx for reply it was very usefull
i have asus fx5950 v9980 ultra 256mb and what that aperture means anyway? I
will look at google search but can you give me advice
thnx again

It's explained simply on following site:

Hi, you could do two different aproach's :
- First, do a little increase by keeping mem 1:1. For that you have to
start first by upping mem Voltage to 2.85 and try to get some more
Mhz... After that, try to put 2-3-3-5 and it will problably go a
little more...
With this move, maybe you could jump from 217 to 225/230.
- Second, you could go as Eljerid said, put mem to 5:4 and try to get
to 245/250 fsb. For that you would most problably to get some more
juice to the cpu, maybe 1,55 ou 1,60... Also, ram would be running a
little above specs, but with 2-2-2-5 timmings ( maybe ), and with a
much higher system speed overall.

You just have to try several parameters... that's overclocking :)
