Could I have a possible PSU issue? (I'm on my third GPU)

If I had a 980ti die 8 months ago(Was in my system for about 13 months no issues), and the placement recently die earlier in the week, should I suspect a possible PSU issue? Voltages seem to be fine with a less powerful GPU(680 ti) according to HW monitor.

It's possible, but the replacement could have been improperly repaired as well. Was the replacement new or refurbished, as typically OEMs will replace warranty claims with refurbished after a 30-day window of a new purchase. Stills, seems odd to have two cards fail on you the way described. Voltages do seem normal in pic. What do the voltages look like in the UEFI? How old is the PSU? Possible degradation, though unlikely. Usually, a PSU will go from working fine to dead or a non-bootable PC .

I did a cross ship on the replacement GPU, and it was shipped in just a clam shell. I assume it was probably refurbished equipment of some sort. I know the PSU is around the 8 year mark.

Voltages look fine to me from the screenshot. Odd as it seems, right now I'd lean on the replacment card failing. No temp or airflow issues in your case? It is a 250W TDP card. I remember my original OCZ Revodrive I had to RMA 3 times. Each time they actually sent a brand new one sealed in packaging just like original. 4th one is still running today.

I think the hottest my GPU has been was 82c. It usually hangs out around the 76c-80c mark for the games that I play. Any cables I have are routed along the perimeter of the case, so it's pretty open for airflow. I guess I'll have to see what happens when the replacement arrives today. Thanks for your time!

No problem. All the info you provided makes the GPU itself seem like the problem. Voltages, temps, and your airflow setup seem normal. What motherboard are you using? I suppose a remote possibility is the power being fed to the GPU in the PCIE slot could cause the issue. I've seen mention of folks on here with bad slots.

Not sure to be honest for voltage, ect. Might be worth it to use another PCIE slot to check though. You are using standard PCIE clockrate of 100Mhz BCLK? Since Haswell, a few Mhz higher or lower can cause issues.

So I got the new GPU today(they actually upgraded me to a 1080), but it seems as if the thermal compound or something wasn't applied properly. Fan caps out at 100% and the heat just keeps on rising(94c before I just turned off the game). I'm batting 1000 with GPUs now, lol.

Which version of 1080? Founder's Edition? If so, thats not normal. Mine is a Founder's and when aircooled it only goes to 83C, then slows down a bit to lower temps. Speaking of, the fans never got near 100%.

It was the EVGA SC ACX with the double fans. They are already doing an advanced cross ship with me for that one. I called them after it was doing the same thing in my wife's computer. Wish me luck
