Could I have damaged my memory??

I overclocked my Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb to 2133mhz at 1.652 volts. I ran prime95 using 90% memory on a custom blend for 12 hours. It all seemed stable, no errors no problems.

I realized after that speed isnt at all neccessary for gaming, and turned it down to 1600mhz at 1.5 v. All seems stable under testing.

However now when I play games, it freezes after 10-15 mins (give or take). I have to ctrl alt del and end program in task manager. All it says it (game name) stopped working.

Could my ram be an the cause? Or would there be more direct indications of bad ram?

Solution
Assuming you are running Intel, so go into BIOS and enable XMP - select profile 1and see how it goes, hopefully all will be well. It's possible they could be damaged I alwasys try and keep DRAM voltage within 0.1 of it's spec voltage (or 1.6 max with 1.5 sticks)
