Hi,
I want to study a Unix for Mac OS X course and I don't have a mac available. Could I install some emulator or something in my Windows 8.1 so I can practice this course?
What do you advice?

Solution

Precisely. Sorry rodion15, but you can't install OS X on a non-Apple machine. It's a breech of the EULA. However, you may install Open Darwin, which is the base of OS X.
Yeah a virtual machine with VMware but you need a copy of mac, not going to recommend any method because they're illegal or violate apple's EULA. Also mac only runs cleanly on 64bit Intel core i3, i5, or i7. Other Intel CPUs might run into problems and AMD CPUs aren't compatible at all.

You mean I need a copy of OS X?
Thanks for your answer
