My gf ordered a graphics card that was suppose to be ddr5 instead of ddr3. I didn't notice this mistake on Amazon's part (ddr5 on package with ddr3 box and card) until after I already installed it and got it working. I'm somewhat not that good when it comes to this type of stuff. Instead of getting Zotac Geforce Gt 730 ddr5 card, they sent us the ddr3 version of the card. We wanted the ddr5 version for gaming purposes since someone on here said it would play the game we wanted to play decently. Gf doesn't want to attempt to send it back since computer is working with graphics card since we've had a terrible time getting the computer to finally work after we built it. Is there any way to upgrade the ddr3 in this card to ddr5 myself? Thanks

No, you can't swap the VRAM on that by yourself.

Amazon has a pretty liberal return/exchange policy in the first 30 days. If it really bugs you, send it back and get the one you want.

Hi, No, you can't do anything with the memory. It isn't hard to Return / exchange stuff with Amazon. I just did it with a printer.

Could I just overclock the ddr3 on the graphics card then and get somewhat the performance I would've gotten with the ddr5? I'm pretty sure she isn't going to send it back now haha Thanks.

The only thing anyone could say is 'maybe'.

It has an overclocking tool on the cd that the drivers came with for it. Someone said it was easy to overclock and that they overclocked well. I suppose this is my only option lol Thank you for your help and time with this.
