Question could i use gtx 730 ti on hewlett packard 3047h motherboard?

Hello, I have an hp compaq 6005 pro mt with phenom ii x4 b97, psu corsair 400w and hewlett-packard 3047h motherboard, could I put a gtx 750 ti on it? Or gt 1030 in case it doesn't work?

Yes, I think you can use any of those GPUs, but make sure it's a low-profile model/SKU. That HP motherboard has 1 x PCI Express x16 2.0 (low-profile) slot for any discrete GPU. Just make sure the card which you want to buy will easily fit inside your computer/cabinet.

Since yours is a 'Microtower' cabinet. A GT 1030 would be a much better choice for this system based on the specs, IMO.

I've been looking at other options and wondering if I can better use an RX 460?

The only issue you may run into is bios support, being an HP. You might want to check on the HP forums, for others that have upgraded your same system. They can provide insight on what has or has not worked. Often for an OEM rig, it's your best option.
