Hi to all!

My laptop has a non removable lithium polymer battery.

And I would like to know if keeping the laptop plugged in non stop while it is turned on,no matter for which purpose is being used, could shorten the life-span of the battery,or not?

Please tell me.
Thanks to all in advance.

If you Google this, you are going to get disparate opinions since Lion Polymer battery existed, I don't think you are going to get anything more definite here.

Don't go O.C.D., exercise it, don't go out of your way to babysit technology.

for the most part modern laptops/batteries are made so they don't overcharge so thats not really an issue.

If youre going to have it sitting plugged in for long periods of time it might be a good idea to get a cooling pad of some sort, heat isn't great for batteries.
