I have had several problems since building my new pc and I am starting to wonder if they are all power related.

the first problem that showed up occurs when trying to boot the pc. About 20% of the time, it doesn't boot up all the way. My motherboard has "ez debug" led lights on it that indicate which part of the boot process it's in and every so often it will get stuck on the "boot" light and never turn on the monitors or the mouse/keyboard (there are 4 lights, BOOT, VGA, DRAM, and CPU). When this occurs, the only solution is to power cycle the pc which then boots normally 99% of the time (I think its happened twice in a row two or three times).

The next problem that has arisen occurs when I try to play VR games using an oculus link cable. No matter which game I play, the pc will crash, shutting off the monitors and peripherals while ramping up the case fans. Power cycling the pc will get it working again but doesnt solve the "can't play VR games" problem. (When this problem showed up I started suspecting my GPU, which is the only component that is more than a year old {its 4 years old}).

I have also had the pc crash a few times now (3 maybe 4 times) while doing other things (not always gpu intensive things)..when this crash occurs, the sound continues normally as though nothing happened but all the displays and peripherals shut off.

In researching my problem I stumbled across some threads where people were having similar problems that turned out to be PSU related and I hadn't even thought of that since my PSU is new and much more than I actually need..But maybe its faulty? Or maybe I hooked something up wrong? I am using some cable extensions..Could that be causing the problem?

IDK..I'm grasping at straws lol..I would greatly appreciate any ideas anyone has. Thanks in advance.

Your parts list looks good. Your PSU is a high quality model and I would not suspect it to be the problem, but there's always an outside chance you got a defect. It happens. First, I would hook it up without the extensions to see if they're the problem. There's no cost to do this, just a bit of work. Safety first, unplug power from the wall before working on it.
