Could my PSU be causing graphical issues?

So a while go I noticed some pretty nasty graphical issues such as blurriness, and flickering; I tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, tweaking the control panel settings and even uninstalling and reinstalling windows 10. After all of which, I finally confirmed that the issue was hardware related. I hadn’t been noticing any instability e.g crashing, but just yesterday my PSU straight up died, the desktop didn’t even post, and I tried it on a different pc but it still didn’t post, so I confirmed that the PSU has in fact blown. I was just wondering if it is at all possible that the PSU was the cause behind all these graphical issues, and as to whether replacing the PSU will fix my issue with graphical artefacts.
My specs:
EVGA GTX 980 4Gb DDR4
16gb Corsair vengeance ram
I7 4770k @3.4ghz

I heard that PSU can damage other parts on your computer but think that depends on the quality off the PSU. I would Test Your GPU on another computer or friends computer!

When my PSU blown up two off my ram slots broken on me so would check to see if you still got warranty on your card and send it for repair.
