Could my PSU run this system?

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a much better PC from my summer work salary, and I have a Corsair VS-550 PSU. Could it run this system:

Intel Core-i7 4790 3.60Ghz LGA-1150
Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3
GIGABYTE GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD GTX970 4GB GDDR5 OC PCIE

If not, what PSU do you recommend to use?

The VS550 will run it. But its only a 3rd tier psu (per http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html#xtor=EPR-8886)

PSUs are like insurance - you should pay more to cover a more expensive build. I'd recommend getting a 500+W PSU from tiers 1 or 2 eg XFX550, Seasonic 520 or 550 or Antec HCG520M
