This may sound like a very nobby question to most but I'll ask any way.

Could somebody tell me why the HWMonitor CPU Temp (25c) is lower than the Core Temps? (31, 30, 32, 30c )

Thanks.

Solution
Not all software can detect all temps properly. There is too many motherboards and chips and temp sensors out there. You have an asus board so can probably use some version of ai suite which will probably give you the best temp.

In addition core temps are temps of each core while another may get the temp at the ihs which is the heat spreader.

Let me download AI Suite and report the temps.
Thanks for the support.
