Could this be a power supply problem?

Often times when I try to turn on my desktop the fans and lights inside turn on but my screen won't turn on and both my mouse and keyboard won't light up as if power isn't being sent out through any ports. I have to unplug the pc then drain the power completely by spamming the power button, remove all usb and other connected devices except my monitor and then power back on for it to work.

Sometimes when turning it on it'll shut down by itself 5 seconds after then turn back on by itself 5 seconds after and again same problem as before.

I have 600W psu
16gb ram
1tb hdd
GTX 1070
MSI motherboard 1150
i7-4790k
Windows 7

Idk if it's worth noting but my PC is unable to properly perform restart. Whenever I try to restart everything turns off except my pc itself, the fans and lights stay on forever until I unplug or hold power button.

Help please?

Good choice, very high quality for the price. Unless you've managed to damage it, it's likely not your issue.

I'm going to go ahead and say that your initial suspicions were right and that this is a power related issue.

I order parts from Amazon cuz I live in the caribbean and buying parts locally is a wallet killer ($680 for a GTX 1070 lol)
If it's on Amazon just link me it and I'll buy it sometime next month. I don't really have a budget.

This power supply has only two 8-pin PCIe connectors, so I can't guarantee compatibility with higher models 1080 ti cards, but it'll run your current build without issue.

I would have gotten you the 520W unit, but the 620W one is on sale for less on Newegg. Unfortunately, it's not available on Amazon.
