I don't have many options when it comes to buying parts to build my own computer right now, but a store in my city sells gaming cpu's and I feel tempted to purchase one. I'm willing to wait for a chance to build my own, but I was just wondering if these parts that they offer on this build they have is worth the price that they are selling it, or maybe, instead if it is a stable computer.
I'm not too technical or confident in my understanding of stability and base requirements for a 'good' computer.
However, I just want a computer that runs games like League of legends decently for my brother and Photoshop and other adobe products for myself(maybe video editing software). I'm not too sure how to read specs yet, but I'm not looking for anything grand. I'm hoping to spend from $550--$600 on this investment. I would truly appreciate it if I can get some advice or insite. I've been waiting to make this step, but I'm at a loss for not knowing what to do. I don't want to make the worst investment of the year.
(I hope to have this cpu at least for 2 years tops before any major upgrades?)
Here is the build:
@$598
• Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz 4th Gen Processor
• H81M-P33 LGA1150 Desktop Motherboard
• 8GB (1x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Memory
• 500GB Hard Drive
• Sapphire AMD Radeon R7 240 2GB Video Card
• APEVIA X-Dreamer4 Case with 450W Power Supply
• Your choice: Windows 7 or 8.1 w/Lic & DVD
I live in Canada if that helps, and Thanks again.
Are there anyways I can step up on this build?
