Couldn't Max out AC UNITY on gtx 980

I recently bought this evga gtx 980 and thought it would Max out Assassin's creed Unity but couldn't .I got amd fx 8350 processor and 16 GB ram.I need to switch antialiasing to off to get 60+ fps.Will attaching a 70-80 dollars gpu with the 980 help?

Well you'll need an overclocked i5/i7 in combo with your 980 ti max out ACU. Its a quite CPU heavy...

You can't attatch a 70-80 dollar GPU with it and use both, sorry. It's a very intense game, poorly optimized, so no you will not get max with the best card.

I found with my gtx780 I could have everything on max but had to turn down AA to x4 or something like that. It seemed buggy in that on one AA setting it was unplayable, but putting AA down by one slot it went to perfectly smooth.

I would experiment with the different AA settings, you may not need it off completely.

Adding a second small GPU as a dedicated physX card I don't think will have that much of an effect. The real problem is that AC Unity is a poorly optimized, they build for console and don't really give a rats about PC.
