Couldnt turn off my p55-cd53 overclocking

I tryed many things to turn off my overclocking that caused turning the pc off by its self from high cpu tempetures ,i even tryed to disable it from the bios menu but the the pc gone off when i try to save settings and the overclock stays ON,and i just wanna ask if reseting the bios will turn it off ? Or tell me any other way that will do

Yes, resetting CMOS/BIOS should turn everything back to factory defaults.
