Someone told me in an other thread to open a Counsel in Linux.
But, there's a problem: I'm a new user of Linux and I don't know what is a Counsel. Could someone tell me in wich program I could open a Counsel.
Yes terminal is the linux analog to the windows command prompt.
Your distrobution will have a terminal 'emulator' preinstalled. (called emulator because you are not actually on the terminal, aka TTY. If you want a real terminal press crtl-alt-f2)
