Hello. I have an XFX amd hd 7770 and a quad core 2.8 processor. I have noticed I can get high fps around 300-400 in game. I also noticed that in large games with 20+ players and looking over a long distance on a map that my fps can drop all the way down to 50-60. Why is this happening? Should I not be able to run this game with ease? I have re-installed amd catalyst multiple times, but is that even the issue? Thanks!

Solution
I would say that it''s pretty normal to see a noticeable FPS drop when looking long distances in any game. CS isn't the heaviest game for computers to handle, very optimized for low end systems actually, but, also, check the ping of other players as connection issues like that can cause HHUUUUUGGGEEEE lag spikes on the best of systems, sometimes it's not you, it's the other guys, experienced this all the time.
