Hello, my name is Riley, but I play under the name of Ry-Lee(Close to my name). I currently play Counter Strike: Global Offensive as a fill in member for minor teams, I am also going to be part in an upcoming team(Team name will not be disclosed, so don't ask).

So I am here to ask you guys if the computer I am about to build will be strong enough to run Counter Strike at a solid 60+ FPS and can have the ability to run other high priority games.

I have already bought A Case and a GPU that can have enough FPS on Counter Strike

Here is my current specs on the build i'm going to buy

Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor

NZXT Kraken X31 69.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

ARCTIC MX-4 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

ASRock H97 PERFORMANCE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card

Rosewill GALAXY-02-A ATX Mid Tower Case

SeaSonic 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Once I get the money I will be buying a EVGA Geforce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked to replace the current one I will be using. If you have any better components that are not to far out of the current parts price range please feel free to tell me.

I wouldn't "Intend" to Overclock. I know I picked an Overclockable GPU but now that I think of it an Overclockable CPU would be better then a non Overclockable one with a Overclocked GPU.

oooh the kraken for the 970. Those are garbage. You can overclock alot on the 970 on air. Replace that cooler with a cpu cooler to overclock your processor instead. And of course with a overclockable processor that is.
