Hey guys,

I just want to know which of the latest graphics cards would allow me to play CS:S on the max settings at 1080p resolution. Reason I ask is that I'm building a new PC, and CS:S is the only game I play. I want to get the best card for it, but not spend more than I need to on advanced features I'll never use.

At what FPS? I have no idea either way, but someone that does know would need to know what FPS you're looking to achieve to answer your question.

You could probably get away with a GTX 760 or the AMD equivalent.

I'm sorry, I would say the best possible that is stable (60+ FPS?). I like to play on the bigger servers with a lot going on.

It is not as very demanding game, I played it for years with a gtx 560 on high settings with fine fps. I would agree that the gtx 760 is a good choice. maybe one like this,
