Hi,
Thinking of getting the following, within my tight budget, and had a couple of quick queries.
ASUS Prime B550 Plus, or ASUS Tuf Gaming B550 Plus - with a Ryzen 5 5600x. and which ram is best, is DDR4 3200Mhz the best to use?

PSU - Which is best out of these choices ? I was going for Corsair 650W TX Semi-modular 80 Plus Gold. Other options are - the same Corsair model (80 plus gold) but 550W or 750W. Alternatively there is a Coolermaster 750W modular 80 Plus Gold, or the basic Corsair 650W CV series. Other hardware is GTX 6GB 1660 SUPER, 250GB SDD, 1GB HDD etc..

Ref the Ryzen 5 5600x - instead of standard amd cooler, I have the option of a PCS Frostflow 100 v2 series high performance CPU Cooler, plus option for thermal paste - Arctic MX-4 Extreme compound. I doubt I will be overclocking or anything like that.

Sorry for all the questions, but times are hard , so wanted best for my budget.
Many thanks.

Avoid the Corsair CV series.

TX-M 550W is plenty for a 5600X + 1660 Super.

3200Mhz RAM is fine, 3600Mhz (CL18) would be better if it's not much more cost.

I'm getting the notion that this is a pre-built machine? Oftentimes decisions are made based on price, so if we're just being given component choices, you're going to get recommendations for the best choices from each category. Once we know price differences for those selections, more informed decisions can be made.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
It is a company (like many nowadays) where you can custom build your pc (within the companies parameters and hardware options). The prices between the 2 x mobo's is about £30, the PSU's - the difference from 550w to 650w is £7, and 650w to 750w is £16, difference between 3200mhz and 3600mhz is £13. I could get the TX-M 550W Gold,as you state that is sufficient, and the 3600mhz Ram - for additional £6 in that case, as I had budgeted for the 650w.

Are the other options ok, ref cooler and paste (the upgraded paste is £9), and cooler is additional £18. (There is same model cooler, but with RGB, for additional £28 . I am not bothered about RGB).The only other option is at £61 for Noctua NH-U14S. As i dont intend overclocking CPU I hope the Frostflow cooler will suffice.
