Couple of slight queries

Been plodding along doing my quests & suddenly realised I might have
messed up a little, not on the main quest but on a couple of side
quests. Can anyone help me out please.

Problem No. 1 I completed the Thieves Guild quests & am now master thief
but forgot about the Bal Molagmer quests which Gentleman Jim was
supposed to give me if went back when ready & of course he has now gone.
Is there anyway of doing them now or have I got to start again to get
them?

Problem No. 2 is to do with Tarer Braryn in Vivec - he who insulted the
Head of the Mages Guild & got a rash as a result. Got the potion to cure
him but got side tracked with other things & am not sure what I did with
it (used it/sold it/stored it somewhere?) what I would like to know is
what sort of potion was it, can I get another etc. as I think he has
suffered enough.

Once you are promoted to Master Thief, Gentleman Jim is gone and there
is no way to do the Bal Molagmer quests anymore. If you want to do those
quests, you need to do them all before his last normal job.

I suppose you either need to go back to an old savegame before you were
promoted, or just skip the Bal Molagmer quests and do them with another
character another time. They are quite fun but not critical to the game
progress, you could skip them without missing something overly important.

If you don't have such a savegame, it's now time to develop that useful
habit of saving the game to a new slot regulary. I didn't find it
necassary to go back to an old savegame very often, but the two times I
had to I was happy to have a save from not too long ago.

I completed the Rash quest, then when I Killed Trebonius to become the
Head of the Mage Guild, I found a second bottle of the rash cure (I
forget its real name) potion on his body. So if Trebonius is still
alive, he should have a second bottle of the potion that you can maybe
Pickpocket, or kill him to get...

There is a possiblity to call Jim Stacey back, but it is a cheat.
If you don't mind cheating, type the following line into the console:

placeatpc stacey 1,1,1

This will place him directly in front of you. You probably will have to
repeat this every time you enter his room because the game consideres him
to be gone. But at least you can get the Bal Molagmer quests this way.

Again, only a cheat will help. This particular potion is unique so you
can't buy another. To place it at your feet, type the following line into
the console:

placeatpc p_cure_common_unique 1,1,1
