CPU 0000 Engineering Sample

I bought some Xeon Engineering samples recently. On the BIOS and Cinebench, name and scores were same as advertised. But recently, i am not sure if it was the diagnostic tools I ran or it's a defect on CPU. The name is changed to CPU 0000 on windows , BIOS now and also shows different base clock on CPU-Z. It is also not performing the same on Cinebench compared to the first time i tested.

I used Intel Diagnostic Tools, CPU-Z and Cinebench for diagnostics and stress test. Also shows the same name as CPU 0000 in all the Diagnostic Tools.

The CPU should have a name Xeon 8890 V4 and it used to show the name.
I am running this on Dell R930

Is there a way to fix this?
Or better yet, what exactly did happen?

Make sure your BIOS is up to date. You can source the necessary BIOS and drivers updates from here.

ES samples are not meant to be sold. They are Intels property. So if you bought them you bought stolen goods. Illegal activity is against forum policy. Thread closed.
