CPU 100% all the time

Hello,
Any ideas why me cpu is running at 100% all the time when in task manager no processes are taking more tha 2%

What percentage is the system idol process running at? This should be 90+ if you have no applications running.

Sometimes you can get rogue software like trojans/viruses that hide themselves from task manager and eat up cpu usage. Have you completed a full system virus scan?

Is the Show processes from all user box checked ?? -- If not it will only show your user processes and the system processes will not be shown which might be where the CPU usage is (could be the system is running a full virus scan or something else that was scheduled -and if you have an older CPU that could be tying up the CPU -- Or as mentioned it could also be a virus infection.
