My friend is having 100% cpu usage in Battlefield 1 and is getting random frame drops sometimes whilst in game.

He was complaining to me about frame drops and his cpu load. At first I thought cpu bottleneck but this cannot be the case with a i5 6500 + GTX 1060 @ 1080p ultra in BF1 with AA off.

His specs:
Cpu: I5 6500 @ 3.2ghz
Gpu: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X
Motherboard: He forgets the name will update you tomorrow
Ram 16gb of HyperX Fury DDR4 @ 2133mhz

I am not super super smart in figuring out issues like this so I thought I'd turn to you guys for help.

So is there an issue with Dx12? I have a 1070 myself and have yet to try it.

Its 11 march 2017,and yet my 7600k is having all cores on 100% with stutters, lags and big fps drops...

Well, the i5 6600k beats the 1700,so i'll pass.My cpu is performing perfectly in games like tw3,battlefield 4 and far cry primal.I don't know why bf1 is acting like this, but i doubt, top cpu which is newer than the game itself will have problems with it,or that game companies are starting to make games for just i7 cpu's

There are 4-5 games now that a same clocked 7700k beats a 7600k and a couple that a 6800k beats both, and even one I saw a 6900k beating all 3 lower core ones. It's not going to get less core intensive. (Not saying you made a bad buy), it may be a year or two, but AAA Titles will require at least an i7 soon

Well, that's just bad for me...That means,i'll have to say good bye to my 7600k and rog 270f.If i knew,i'd save a bit and buy x99 and i7...
