Question CPU 100% usage

Hi,

I have cheap hp Notebook:

Inter Celeron N3050 1.6GHz
4,00 GB RAM
Intel HD Graphic, probably some processor based Graphics

It runs very slow, I cant even browse internet without waiting almost minute for loading the page
It can't be viruses, because i just formatted it and upgraded to SSD, which i thought would solve the problem.
it made it like 10% better...
Meanwhile the CPU is almost always at 100% usage, i am sure that causes the problem

I don't need this laptop for complicated stuff. only for it's notebook purposes.
Is there any point in bothering to fix this, or should i just give up and consider buying new laptop?

Can you upgrade the RAM? 4GB with the built-in graphics using some of it is too small for Windows 10 anymore.

RAM is definitely a problem, the Celeron is only dual core - may want to check your power profile - you didn't mention if you were plugged in or not. The settings may be throttling your CPU as well.

No. It is because the CPU.

I have the same laptop like you, my friend. And I never have some laptop as crap as it before. Even my old 2009 laptop still faster than it.

Sadly to tell you. But I and the seller tried to install Win 7 to it. It is very difficult. It finally work, but still very...slow. Even I just use the laptop for Word, Excel and Web browser.

I feel like we be fooled by Asus.

I have an Asus laptop with the N2830 Bay Trail CPU @ 2.16 Ghz. / 4GB ram and it was sloooow out of the box. Replacing the hard drive with a crucial SSD and installing Ubuntu made it worth keeping for simple tasks. Windows just crawled on it.
