Cpu 74c for 6700k while compressing video is it normal

am running a tool called handbrake
https://handbrake.fr

and compressing the video its 20 minutes converting time , and my cpu process is

91% / 95% / 88% and i can hear the fan and its also 74c cpu

i have i7 6700k

am i risking my cpu using this tool , i never heared my fan this is the first time i hurd it kick in , i never heard my cpu or pc fan its so so silent , but this tool making my cpu fan fast.


is there a risk using this tool

Video compression is similar to torture tests many times(at least with well threaded codec's and software). Toss in a little AVX(depending on the codec) and you get some real heat.

I do agree it could use better cooling for sure. I am interested in what they already have.


am not sure what heatsink its using but normally the pc is extreme silent u cant barely tell if its on , thats how silent , am contverting this video and the software uses high amount of cpu , so its making my fan run fast , but am thinking can this hard my cpu sir.



is my cpu capable handling these things with ease ? is this normal

also i have no limits on cash whats the best heat sink i can get .
