Question CPU 8 pin socket Continuity

X570+ TUF MB
Ryzen 7-2700x CPU
EVGA 1000 W PSU
So like others computer will not turn on with the 8 pin CPU power connected.
Disconnect the 8 pin CPU power and computer turns on (obviously will not boot)
Everything was working the past 8 months

PSU is fine (even tried a new one)
Checked the CPU power cord wires. all 4 sets @ 12V
Checked the continuity on the 8 pin socket on the MB.
Only 3 of the 4 sets shows continuity. Could this be the problem?
Is it fixable?
New MB?

What do you mean like other computers?
The computer should not boot without the 8 pin connector.

Sorry. No I meant to say like other people with a similar problem when they connect the 8 pin CPU power. Lots have been written about it
