CPU 80-83 Celsius degree while gaming

Hello everyone, I have a question. I also searched the topics about this, but I wanna be sure about my specific case.

I have an Intel Celeron G550 cpu. It's temperature can reach 80-83 Celsius in some type of games like Mad Max or Dead Rising 3.

Is it safe to gaming on this temperature? I know my cpu is a Sandy Bridge type, and the Tjmax is 102 Celsius. Also, it has a stock cooler.

I hope you can help me with your opinions!

Solution
Yes, it is safe.
The processor will slow down or shut off if it senses a dangerous temperature.
That is around 100c.

If your case has good front air intake to feed your cooler, you should be seeing 10-15c. over ambient.

If you are seeing anything much higher, check that your cooler is mounted well.
It should not wiggle if you nudge it.
Look at the back of the motherboard; all 4 pushpins should be through the case and locked.

Thank you for your answer, yes, I cleaned, and have 4 additional case fan. Okay, it's a dual-core, but as I said it only occurs when playing heavy games like Mad Max. The minimum requirement processor for that game is a quad-core, so I don't wonder why it reaches 80 celsius, the air flow and cooling is not the main problem. My question is about is it harmful my processor to run at these temperatures.

It's fine if it's not running like that 24/7. A little toasty, but ok.
But if it was the quad core instead, it would likely be hotter than that - more cores = more heat. But maybe it's just the crap stock cooler though. They're 'enough' as Intel would probably put it.
I'm curious about the orientation of your case fans. Front/bottom as intake, and rear/top as exhaust. Side fan orientation is very situational though.

Yeah, you are right and I understand your point of view about the number of cores, but I also think fewer cores makes harder the cpu's work, which means more heat it produces. My case don't have frontal socket for fan sadly, only 2 on the back, and two on the side. I directed the cool air from the back, and blow the warm air (above the processor's stock cooler) from the side.

And yes, I don't run on this temperature the PC all the time, only 2-3 hour per day, and not always 80, rather around between 69-83 celsius is typical when I played these kind of games.

Witcher 3 makes my rig only 55-65 celsius warm.

Thank you too for your answer. Cooler on it's place, doesn't move a bit.
I know I want too much from this old CPU, that's why is a bit hot, but I just wanted to know I won't kill it with this kind of circumstances.
