Socket: PPGA478

i want to change the cpu with new cpu
CPU INTEL CORE 2 DUO T8100 2.10/3M/800 FF80577T8100 SLAVJ SLAYP SLAP9

Yes, check the row that says, "socket support". They share the same socket. It should work fine. Just make sure to buy a tube of thermal paste for when you've installed the new chip.

My bad you're right, I misread the supported socket types for the 8100.

the celeron is supported in, more technical terms, socket PPGA478
while the 8100 is in PGA478. See the difference?

The next best option is the Intel T7700 core duo model.

don't worry, it can be misleading. in fact the difference lies in the form beyond the name, even if at first sight they seem identical. they warned me yesterday

i think i buy T7500 because is the almost the same of T7700 but at half the price on ebay
