CPU affecting render quality?

Does anyone have a concrete answer to whether or not the processor changes how high quality the rendered video is?

My reasoning behind my suspicion is because, after copying every render settings, proj properties, bitrate settings, recording settings, ect, of off large youtubers, whos videos are great quality, my video turns out to be way blurry. It seems like a bitrate problem, but I have used many settings. I've had this problem ever since i've started using Sony vegas, and i've gone from 13-15. Also, i've had youtube force the video quality to vp9, if that helps.

In sony vegas, the preview window shows superb quality. It is just how it should be, and I make it full screen and its perfect, but after render it sucks. Anyone have recommendations?

Here is somewhat of an example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVGKnCH3YlM
Sorry for the high pitch voice lol. Color curves and color correcter have been added, but I did a before and after and they did not change quality.

Edit: Do not run any cpu or gpu intensive tasks in the background. Solely the software

gpu: gtx 750ti

If the problem only started happening when you started using Vegas, and the video looks fine in Vegas but doesn't look good when rendered, then that leads me to believe your problem is not hardware. It's that you haven't learned how to control Vegas rendering. I don't use that editor so I can't help with specific instructions.

However, my method for learning a new editor is to create a few sample clips then work on them. In your case, I'd create a couple of sample videos and just spend time rendering them in different quality levels. Learn what each setting does, and how changing that setting affects things. Don't use presets, do everything manually.

Also, Youtube compresses video. The best you can do is upload the highest quality...
Your specs may affect your render *times*, but quality? That's new. If it looks good in the preview, then my bests bet would be that you have something wrong with your rendering settings (If Sony Vegas has them, that is. I'm not familiar, but I assume it does.). What settings have you changed regarding bitrate, and what resolution are you rendering at?

edit: Don't waste your time copying settings other people use. Learn how to use the program, then find the settings that work best for you. Other people's settings are irrelevant to you.

Vegas is the only program I have ever used. I have been editing for about three years now and you are probably right, I am most likely making the same mistake every time, only because that is the way I’ve been doing things. Many times I have made up to 20 of the same clip, all with different settings and uploaded them to YouTube. I spent many hours trying to figure this out. I will try to start from scratch, but some settings I only understand from the videos. Thanks
