CPU aftermarket cooler :D

Hey I am running my stock intel cooler and due to summer i've decided to upgrade.
I have an Antec 300 case.

I can get a CM X6 for 40 dollars but I'm not sure if it will fit. (69 normally where I live)
Here are its dimensions

My second option is Hyper 212 Evo which will fit as i've been told. (45 where I live)
Here are its dimensions

Which of these two is better? 212 Evo vs X6
Will the X6 fit in my Antec 300 case?

The CM X6 is the flashier looking of the 2. But the 212 is the better of the 2 when it comes to cooling.

the x6 is the better cooler but I've no idea if it will fit or not. I know a v8 fits and I think that roughly the same size as the x6.

Alright so now one says the X6 is better and the other says hyper 212 is better..
Being more expensive I'm guessing the X6 is better. Can i have a confirmed fit for it by more people?

I'll admit I haven't used the X6. My opinion was purely subjective. But I don't see any improvement over the 212 EVO. And I prefer the direct heat pipe contact of the 212 EVO over the added copper base of the X6 Elite.
