cpu aio cooling

I have seen in some videos where people has a aio connected to their cpu but no water cooling included like they only have the 2 cables going to the radiator and that's it. I can't find any aio air coolers so how does it work? can u just connect the cpu into it without any pumps or any water cooling stuff and that's it?

In those vids and or pics they probably just had good cable management.
On my coolers there is a plug to hook to the cpu header, a usb header cable to a like micro usb cable that goes to the pump head, a power lead that depending on the cooler to a power supply cable or sata power cable and a wire that maybe split with 2 female 3 to 4 pin female fan connections.
So with good cable and wire routing most of that is hidden behind the mobo in back side of the case.
