Would like some advice pls,was going to purchase the Cooler Master V10 1366 CPU Cooler but been told that the Ram mentioned here will not fit on this particular cooler! Whats the best air cooler available for an Intel i7 980X Extreme Edition 3.33Ghz LGA 1366 that will be going on an Gigabyte X58A-UD7 Intel Mobo. Corsair Memory Dominator GT 6GB (3x2GB)DDR3 P3-16000 (2000Mhz) Triple Channel Ram will be fitted to the Mobo. Will need a cooler that cools the cpu/chipset and ram together, or a solution to this setup.

Forgot to mention that the CPu will not be overclocked for now, maybe later on.

You have a very good case that will fit every air cooler i know of.
No problems there!
The V10 is an interesting cooler that actually extends over your ram and cools it as well.
However i doubt it will clear GT's due to their height 54mm.
Sounds to me like you've already purchased your ram kit.
Have you?
From what i understand 2000Mhz kits don't offer much of a performance increase over a good 1600Mhz kit.
If you can change you ram choice the Muskin Redline's the one guy had is an excellent choice and one i often recommend CL6 and 40mm.
The Blackline kit is cheaper CL7 same height 40mm.
The G.skills Ripjaws series would also work 41mm tall.
Other then that the regular Corsair XMS kits are 33mm tall as well as the Kingston HyperX low profiles.
Any of these kits will fit with the majority of high-end air coolers including the V10. Kingston's 1600Mhz CL7 's are currently out of stock.

However my first choice for a high-end cooler would be the Thermalright Silver Arrow Dual 160mm x 140mm Fan Universal -$82.99

I have not purchased my RAM yet or cooler, but I do have the case and Mobo. I would like the fastest RAM I can buy and the best cooler, but have been told that the speed difference between 1600Mhz and 2000Mhz RAM is minimal so have been thinking whether to purchase 1600Mhz RAM instead as the RAM size will be smaller,so in theory should fit with any cooler. However I do not want to limit my RAM due to the size of my cooler, ideally would like to have the best cooler(or one of the best) with the fastest RAM possible, even if the RAM is tall with fins at the top. So pls can you advise me on the perfect setup?

I think my previous post pretty much says it all.

The model series you choose and the type of heatspreaders will determine the height of the ram.
For example Corsair GT's are 54mm tall no matter what speed and latency they come in.

Regular Dominators are 52mm tall.
G.skill Pi's and Tridents are 54mm tall. Ripjaws 41mm.
For example all these kits are the same physical size(height)

Personally i would buy one of these kits probably the Redlines and the TR Silver Arrow if i were going to o'c to 4Ghz.
